I have worked as a diabetes educator at the Institute of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Children’s Hospital Westmead since January 2000. I became a Credentialled Diabetes Educator in September 2003 and became the first Paediatric Diabetes Nurse Practitioner in Australia in August 2004. I have been an active member of ADEA since 2004 both at local and national level and am currently the immediate Past President of ADEA.
