ADS-ADEA 2015* In this 10th anniversary year of OzDAFNE, one of the pioneers of DAFNE in the UK, Professor Simon Heller, will reflect on the origins of the 'dose adjustment for normal eating' structured education program for adults with type 1 diabetes, and discuss the new National Institute for Health Research grant to develop and evaluate the DAFNEplus programme. Professor David McIntyre and Dianne Harvey will discuss the impact of OzDAFNE over the past 10 years, and future developments for DAFNE in Australia. This session will be chaired by Professor Jane Speight.
