David Chipps

Dr David R Chipps is a Clinical Associate Professor of the Western Clinical School, University of Sydney, Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at Westmead and Blacktown-Mt Druitt Hospitals, and Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at the Western Sydney Diabetes and Endocrine Centre. He was instrumental in the establishment and was the inaugural co-chair of the Diabetes (later Endocrine) Network of the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation and was until recently the head of the Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology, Westmead and Blacktown-Mt Druitt Hospitals. He has an interest in diabetes, particularly with regard to in-hospital management, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders, and the endocrine aspects of malignancy.
