Jo Giles is a communications specialist with a 30-year, internationally award-winning career in health and corporate media production. Over the last few years Jo has been developing and trialing a suite of educational resources for teachers, parents, health professionals and the general public that empowers people to avoid lifestyle related illness. Jo is the principal author of the Metabolic Symphony program and YiYO games which deliver ‘the energy management story’ on a platter i.e. appetite, brain chemistry, food and lifestyle choices and metabolism; and explain how sustained poor lifestyle results in systemic illness. Jo has worked extensively with both mainstream and Indigenous children to help them navigate the current food landscape and promote personal responsibility.
