Simone Patterson is a Diabetes Clinical Nurse Consultant and Credentialled Diabetes Educator at Knox Private Hospital in Melbourne. She completed her Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education in 2009 and Master of Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner) degree at Deakin University in 2014. She is an active member of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association, Australian College of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Association of Diabetes Educators. Simone strives to improve the quality of life of people living with diabetes and encourage health care professionals to better understand the treatment and impact of diabetes from the patient's perspective.
