- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Dr Kyra Sim began her studies at the University of Otago (New Zealand) before completing her Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics at The University of Sydney. Her passion for understanding the complex relationship between obesity and fertility led her to stay on and complete my PhD. As a result of her ardent interest in understanding the biological mechanisms associated with preconception, she is the Project & Research Officer of the University of Sydney’s Charles Perkins Centre flagship study: BABY1000 – which aims to identify the modifiable risk factors and interventions prior to, and during pregnancy that impact on later life. In total, she has nine years of clinical and research experience in the developmental origins of health and disease and consequently a number of publications in top scientific journals.
